WHO WE ARE

Our Roots

Technology is everywhere. Phones are at the center of attention and children are surrounded by electronics; it has made its way into every corner of life. However, senior citizens are often left out of these advancements, with technology leaping far ahead of what many can do. We aim to close this gap. At our core, we are a group of students dedicated to improving the lives of senior citizens. Our way of doing this is by ensuring each and every person we encounter won't look at technology as a hurdle, but instead as a way to go beyond what is already possible.

ACTIVITIES

SUPPORT

We are dedicated to supporting efforts that seniors make to explore technology. We know that many of them have tried to become more connected, but it isn't easy. We aim to supplement their efforts to learn technology, whether that be seeking help from family members or trying technology themselves. And for those that don't have experience with technology, we can help you get started

EDUCATION

As teenagers surrounded by technology, we are able to use our experiences to enhance those who are lacking. By providing a source of technology education for those that may not have it we hope to inform them of the innovations that the 21st century has to offer and how to utilize them to improve their wellbeing, quality of life, and health.

ADVOCACY

Many people don't fully understand the importance of computer skills among the elderly population. Computer skills not only allow seniors to stay up to date, it also allows them to make their own health decisions and take action to reduce or eliminate the spread of disease and preventable health conditions. Our goal is to make people more aware of the impact that high-quality technology education can have on the quality of life for senior citizens, both on a convenience and health level.
